House slippers are one of the most purchased items during the holiday season and I receive a new pair every year for Christmas. I like foam slippers, but the foam wears out over the course of a year and the slippers become flat. I would rather have one high-quality pair of slippers than 10 pairs that will be thrown away within a year.
