It's been awhile since my last post, but the beautiful California sun has been shining, which means here in Northern CA we're able to explore the outdoors and activities once again.
Gilroy Gardens is one of my favorite places to bring my family. I love the excitement of the kids coming for the first time, to the ones who are returning, and for the adults who experience nostalgia from their younger years coming here.
Gilroy Gardens had an illumination show late last year, and it was a spectacular showcase. The best part about living in California is the celebration and appreciation of different cultures. The illumination event was based on a celebration within Chinese culture, celebrating astonishing exhibits with lights and made of all sorts of materials, especially porcelain.
