California's Great America

Great America has been one of the best theme parks I've visited. I grew up with Great America out here in the bay area, and I know that the park attracts visitors from all over the country.

If you've never been, you should check out the 70+ rides and attractions they have. I've been to shows here, and I always have a good time. If rides aren't your cup of tea, some of my friends come out for shows and to have a picnic, or to hang out at the water rides/slides. You can even check out Planet Snoopy. It's a good time for the family and kids.

Gilroy Gardens Lumination

I recently saw an advertisement for Gilroy Gardens' new Lumination event, and wanted to check it out! 

Lumination is a festival of lights celebrating 2,000 years of Chinese culture and history. This is the first lantern festival to take place on the west coast, with 30 major sculpture displays and fun landmarks that are represented.

I'm excited to bring my family and friends here. The kids will love the dragons, pandas in the bamboo forest, and they will even have live performers!

This event will take place from now until November 29th. Gilroy Gardens is a family theme park located in Gilroy, CA.
