Woolzies Dryer Balls Review

Did you know that dryer sheets often contain harmful chemicals and are filled with irritating fragrance products? That fresh, clean smell from your laundry is likely not as clean as you think. The smell coming from laundry vents is also harmful due to the chemicals and fragrances that get released into the air. You should think twice about loving the smell of "freshly fragant" laundry from dryer sheets!

For years, I was using dryer sheets and my clothes always seemed to make me itchy. It wasn't until I found out about natural detergents and natural ways to reduce static cling that I saw an improvement in my skin sensitivities.

Wool balls have been a great alternative to the traditional single-use dryer sheets. Not only do they last for thousands of loads, they are a natural product that do not irritate sensitive folks like me.

I came across Woolzies while looking for higher quality wool balls. My first impression of Woolzies was that these look durable and solid - the XL wool balls are bigger than tennis balls! Woolzies dryer balls help to soften clothes naturally. They are also energy and time efficient, and are made of pure New Zealand wool.

Benefits of Woolzies Dryer Balls:
  • Reduces static cling and gets rid of wrinkles
  • Shortens drying time by 25% (even more for smaller loads)
  • Saves energy and is completely safe for anyone with wool sensitivities
There are no chemicals in Woolzies dryer balls, and one 6 pack of Woolzies is all you need for long-term clothes drying.

How to use Woolzies:
Place 6 dryer balls into the dryer and dry your clothes. That's it!

I can't stress enough the importance of hypoallergenic products, especially after seeing an increase in the number of products we use that contain harmful chemicals. This product is safe for everyone to use, and it's a win-win for everyone. Not only is it budget-friendly, this product is built to last at least 1,000 loads, which promotes reuse and recycle in our environment. No more single-use dryer sheets with harmful chemicals!

1,000 Loads?
If you truly think about what 1,000 loads means, here is how I did the math. On average, I wash and dry 4 loads of laundry per week. That would be 16 loads per month, which is 192 loads per year. Imagine 1,000 loads - that's an equivalent of approximately 5 years for me!

This is a great alternative for drying your clothes and I would highly recommend checking out Woolzies for the sake of your health and the health of your family.

  2. The worst thing I did laundry wise, was to try to scrub a stain out of a pair of silk pants. Needless to say I made a whole in them that couldn't be fixed or hidden.

  5. The worst thing that happened to me in the laundry area; was when I left a non-working dryer plugged in. Thank goodness that when it decided to start on fire I was home and a fire extinguisher was nearby! Michelle H.

  6. I'm lucky that I haven't had a ton of horror stories, but I did horrrrrrrrribly shrink my husbands favorite wool sweater from a large to something resembling about a 3T...

  8. I don't really have any laundry horror stories, unless you count a load of towels that got left in the washer for 2 days and stunk so bad it took 3 washes to get the smell out!

  18. The worst laundry experience...well where do I start? lol

My husband left ALL the washcloths at the laundry mat 3x and twice they were thrown out!!!

Husband putting laundry detergent in the wrong dispenser so they basically didnt get cleaned! (he only put it in the pre-wash dispenser)

    Lost socks...naturally.

The last one would have to be, when we started using a laundry mat, my under-wires in my bras apparently got too hot in the dryer so they burned through the material....bye bye bras.
