Prom Dresses from Dress First

Of all the fashion apparel and accessories I write about, my favorite subject is dresses. I love finding the latest styles of dresses for special occasions, evening dresses, and even for prom. Dresses are fun and they can make a bold statement about your personality, when you find the right fit and style for you.

Prom dress shopping can be time consuming if you don't know where to look and for what type of dress you want. This is why I am always looking for trendy fashion sites online with great deals. There is always a cousin, niece, or friend's daughter who needs to shop for prom dresses. When they come to me for advice on affordable fashion, it's nice to know what I'm talking about before giving out dress recommendations!

I came across a site called Dress First that specializes in dresses for all types of occasions. In addition to cocktail dresses and wedding dresses, they also have accessories to go with your dress. What caught my attention was their selection of cheap prom dresses, which I'm currently helping my niece shop for, even though prom is a few months away.

One piece of advice I would give to prom dress shoppers is it's never too early to start shopping around for that perfect dress! If you wait until the last minute, you are less likely to find the style you want at a great price. After browsing their selection of prom dresses, my niece and I decided on two styles with either a purple or blue color. Blues and purples are very flattering on her and we found some great styles with the right length.

Dress First has these two styles that fit my niece perfectly:

This A-line/princess neckline chiffon dress is elegant with a hint of sophistication. It's also breathtakingly gorgeous! Since the neckline is classy as it is, I would go with earrings and a bracelet, without the need for a necklace. This dress comes in many colors to fit your preferences and needs.

Here is another style that my niece is considering:

This is an absolutely stunning prom dress. Not only is it classy, the royal blue color is rich and goes well with silver heels. This dress also comes in a variety of other colors, including pastels such as pink, baby blue, and ivory/beige tones. This ankle length dress is perfect if you would rather not choose a floor length dress like the one in the first image.

If you are looking for prom dresses, or any other special occasion dress, check out Dress First. They have sizes ranging from 2 to 26, which is incredible considering how limited retail stores can be with their dress size availability.

Remember, start early when it comes to prom dress shopping. It's a great lesson and habit - shop early, find discounts, and be prepared without any stress before prom!

  4. My niece just got her dress for prom and it's "princess-y" too. Must be a trend this year?

I never went to prom so it's all kind of outside of my frame of reference.
