Happy Holidays

This is usually the time of the year when I reflect on how far I've gotten on my journey from my humble beginnings. Blogging started as a passion of mine after I was laid off from my first full-time job out of college. I've always enjoyed writing and expressing myself to the world, even when the world refused to listen to me. I also found that I enjoyed writing about products and talking about them via social media. Eventually, my path became one filled with fashion, health, and beauty.

I have to admit, I continue to blog as my passion and hobby. I work a full-time job to pay off my college debt and bills, but my heart is with blogging, marketing, and social media. I hope that in 2014 I can continue my hobbies by creating videos on Youtube that will interest you. I love comedy, so you have been warned that I will have a heap of comedic and informative videos for you.

All in all, it has been one hectic year. I found a new job in a management role, forked up tons of money for my dog's surgery, moved to a new location where I was finally able to sleep (no footsteps above me or loud neighbors!), and my brother came out of a coma. Not all in that order, but you get the picture.

Life circumstances have, for some reason, always been out of my control. There is always something happening or going on, even when I yearn for peace and quiet. I've learned that just because I can't control my circumstances, it doesn't mean I don't have control over my actions and words.

As I reflect on where my path will lead me, I hope you have a wonderful time with your loved ones, or you are able to enjoy some rest and relaxation.
