Beecology Review

Sulfate-free hair care and body products are essential to maintaining soft and beautiful skin and hair. I like using natural products, and am always looking for the best products out on the market. Beecology makes products with natural ingredients that include cucumber, green tea, and of course honey!

Beecology sent me their sulfate-free and paraben-free shampoo, conditioner, and hand and body cream to review. I like sulfate-free and paraben-free products because my skin is sensitive and I've noticed that using products without these chemicals has improved the appearance and condition of my skin. Since most sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners can be on the expensive side, I'm always on the lookout for affordable, natural beauty products.

Many people are hesitant to use sulfate-free shampoos because they feel the products don't produce an adequate amount of lather. The products on our store shelves have trained us to believe that lathering is what actually cleans our hair, but that is not always the case. The sulfates in many of those products are the reason those products get foamy.

Without using any hair products, my frizzy hair looks smoother and nourished. I've been using the Beecology shampoo and conditioner for nearly two weeks, and have noticed a significant improvement with my hair. It feels softer and more manageable, and I can even run a comb through it without ripping a bunch of knots out of my hair. The best part is my hair feels hydrated. It doesn't look as dry as it did several weeks ago!

The shampoo has a nice rich lather and both the shampoo and conditioner have a light floral scent that smells clean. I've been asked several times what shampoo I use by strangers!

The hand and body cream is lightweight and glides on smoothly. I like the light scent of cucumber and green tea. This product is made with shea butter, antioxidant Cupuacu, and olive oil which does wonders for your skin. This product has soothed my dry skin and is healing the cracks that I started to get on my hands from the cold weather. This cream does not make your skin feel oily and a small pea sized amount is all I need. A little goes a long way!
