Newman's Own Organics Review

Newman's Own Organics generously sent me a large box filled with a wide selection of their organic food products. The products took up nearly the entire length of my coffee table!

I am a proud supporter of companies who make organic food products. In our society, it would be much more convenient to cut corners and produce food with cost-cutting ingredients. Newman's Own Organics' products are USDA certified! Can you believe all this food is organic?

I was not expecting such a large selection of food. I didn't even know where to begin. I let my family choose a few items each day, so that we would not end up with opened packages everywhere. It was very tempting to open them all!

I started with the Hermits cookies. These contain molasses, which reminds me of my childhood and the days I spent with my grandmother.

The taste is entirely different from any cookies I've had until now. The soft texture, organic raisins, and spicy flavor combined with the sweet molasses taste makes these hermits very unique.

Newman's Own Organics sells these cookies in three different flavors: original, cinnamon, and ginger. The ginger is very distinct without overpowering the overall flavor of these cookies. These were a great afternoon snack! They were gone in a matter of hours, thanks to my family's appetite.

Next, I chose the dried fruit berry blend. These were much more flavorful than regular dried fruit I normally buy to eat with my oatmeal. The berry blend contains raisins, cranberries, blueberries, and red tart cherries. The best part is that all of these ingredients are organic!

Even though this was dried fruit, it was very juicy. The berry blend adds an incredible rich taste. I would definitely recommend using the berry blend in your oatmeal, cereal, and smoothies. These are also a great snack on their own, as an alternative to sugary or processed snacks. This is the perfect mid-morning or afternoon snack especially for kids! I am taking these to work with me to help replace the afternoon candy bars.

Speaking of candy, I had to try a chocolate bar. What's better than organic chocolate? I tried the mocha milk chocolate, and it nearly blew up my taste buds. It was that good!

The aroma of mocha and smooth, creamy chocolate texture was incredibly delicious. I just can't resist milk chocolate. I would eat this everyday if I could. I decided to open another package of the creme-filled mint cookies. Dipping these in milk was the perfect way to end the afternoon!

Even though making high-quality organic products costs Newman's Own Organics more than the average business, I am glad they are committed to bringing us such amazing products. Every product I've tried so far is delicious, and I can tell a lot of work went into making each of these products.

I'm no fan of complicated and processed ingredients lists. I like the fact that Newman's Own Organics lists their ingredients for each product on their website. The best part is I can actually understand the ingredients!

Check out Newman's Own Organics' website for a complete list of their products. There is often some confusion about Newman's Own, and Newman's Own Organics. The two are related, however Newman's Own Organics became a separate company several years ago. They each carry separate lines of products. I can't wait to see what new products they will be making!

I didn't know that Newman's Own Organics was located close to me, here in California. I would highly recommend their products for the organic ingredients, taste, and affordability. If it's one thing Californians know, it's how expensive organic food can be here.
