UGLee Ergonomic Pen Review

Everyone can relate to the pain of hand cramps after a long session of note-taking, or simply from writing too quickly. Traditional pens are not comfortable to hold and are not made with comfort in mind.

When I received the UGLee ergonomic pen to review, I immediately noticed the different shape of the pen. The UGLee pen, designed by Dr. Lee, was created to follow the anatomy of the hand. This pen fits into the contours of your hand while you are writing.

I tested the pen and noticed how smooth the ink glided onto my writing pad. The soft material on the lower portion of the pen is an added bonus! Over the years, I have developed a "hard spot" on my middle finger, where the pen rests as I write. The friction of constant note-taking on my middle finger seems to have created this hard spot, which often causes me pain after a long day of writing.

Notice how the pen rests on my hand (near the knuckle area) with a contoured shape that perfectly fits. There is no need to grip this pen because the soft rubber-like material grips your hand without any required effort on your part. This pen weighs just 11 grams! The pen may look heavy, but it feels incredibly light!

I like the fact that Dr. Lee designed this pen after years of struggling to find a comfortable, ergonomic pen for his years taking notes as a medical student. I believe everyone of all ages would benefit from using the UGLee pen, especially college students or those with pain in their hands, such as arthritis patients.

These pens would also be great items to purchase for employees who work in an office setting. I work at a medical school and brought the UGLee pen to work for note-taking during meetings. I have been asked repeatedly where I purchased my pen!
