Boogie Board Rip E-Writer Review

The Boogie Board writing tablet is a convenient way to convey messages, take notes, or simply to draw as you daydream about the world while stuck in your office cubicle!

Improv Electronics sent me their LCD E-Writer to review. Since using the Boogie Board, I have used fewer post-it notes and have not carried bulky notepads along to meetings. I work in an office and have used this writing tablet to take quick notes without having to worry about bringing a distracting laptop or pen and notepad along.

For those of us who are constantly "on the go," this lightweight e-writer is portable, convenient, and can be used repeatedly without having to waste paper.

With the Boogie Board, eliminate the use of post-it notes and writing pads. This is an eco-friendly alternative to using paper.

This can be a useful product to have at home when you need to leave a message for a family member, or if you need to set reminders for yourself.

When you want to start over, simply press the "erase" button.

You can also save your lists, images, or notes as PDF files.

The Boogie Board comes with a USB cable. Once you press save, connect the Boogie Board to your computer, and save your files to your computer.

There is also an unlock/lock feature on the left side of the device. When using the e-writer, make sure it is unlocked. You won't be able to save or erase your images if locked.

Use this writing tablet to teach your children how to write and spell out words. This is an effective learning tool, even for learning cursive handwriting.

This writing tablet has an 8.5 inch screen and does not need batteries. You can use the included stylus to write and draw, but other instruments can be used too, including your fingers!

The Boogie Board weighs 4 oz. which is much more efficient to carry than a computer, electronic tablets, and even notepads. They are available in a variety of colors, and can be customized.

  1. I tutor elementary school kids and this writing tablet would definitely be useful. They like electronics, so writing on a tablet would be more interesting for them than notepads or binder paper.

  2. Whenever I'm in a business meeting I take notes on whatever scrap paper or notepad I can find. I can rarely find those notes later. It would be great to have a Boogie Board to be able to keep those notes for future reference.

  6. I would use it at Troop meetings to 1. Jot down things I need to pick up for future meetings, 2. For parents to jot down things they need to tell me but can't while I'm working with the girls. 3. Also to use at Leaders meetings and Service Team meetings. I need all the help I can get to remember things. Humm wonder if it will help me remember all 8 grandkids names. LOL

  15. I was thinking more for my daughter, she is constantly drawing. She loves to doodle and write and draw all the time. I would probably keep it along for when she's bored so that she will always have something to do. She has gone through so many of my note books and cost me so much money in printing paper. I think this would come in very handy and save me a lot of money
