My New Job and Blogging - StressLess Tip of the Week

Hi everyone! I've been away the past week because I started a new job and this has been an insanely hectic time. 
I had to commute 6 hours total a day for work, found a new place to live, and camped out in my new place with a foam mattress and sleeping bag on the floor. 

After losing my job a year and a half ago while I was in school for my Master's degree, and finishing that degree with doubts about finding a job in today's economy, I am glad to finally be back on my feet again! 

Unemployment is one of the scariest things that can happen to someone. Have you lost your job because of this economy? I would love to hear about your experiences!

I'm so sorry I've been away from blogging and once everything settles down, I will be back and in full force! I'm working on new product reviews and giveaways, so please stay tuned! I'll also bring you more deals, stress-less tips and fun creative craft projects and ideas.

During my commute, I've had to deal with the stress of driving and traffic, in addition to learning a new job, and making sure my family's needs are met at the end of the day. All I can say is, phew!!

If you see people falling asleep on the road, laugh really loud and stare at them. It helps prevent accidents! :)

Here is a stress-less tip that you may find helpful:

Start a stress journal

A stress journal helps to identify what stresses you out each day and what you do to deal with the stress. Whenever you feel stressed, write it down or type it on your computer:
  • The cause of your stress
  • How did you feel physically and emotionally?
  • How did you respond?
  • What did you do to make yourself feel better?
