Technology is quickly evolving and growing to make our lives easier and more convenient. We have smartphones and wireless printers, but what about scanners? Everyone needs to scan and upload documents at some point, but scanners are bulky and are not portable.

Image from iPhone on StandScan |
The problem with taking pictures of documents on the smartphone is with the quality and resolution. Even when I take a photo of a document I need to upload, the image is blurry and I can't hold the phone still. I used my iPhone to test the quality of the scan, and the resolution was good. The document was clearly visible and easy to read.
How to use the StandScan:
1. Fold StandScan into place (takes less than 3 minutes)
2. Place document or photo into box
3. Place smartphone above the box and position phone
4. Enable camera and take image
That's it!
I travel often and spend a lot of time sending documents to my office. Business centers are costly and time consuming. With the StandScan I can use this without having to leave my hotel room and I don't need to carry any wires to plug into my laptop. I can email the documents directly to myself or colleagues.
I also tested the StandScan on a small photo of my dog that I carry with me. It works well on images too.
This would make a great gift for any smartphone user and for anyone who needs to scan while "on the go." This product would have been helpful to me when I was in college. It's compatible with any smartphone and you don't need to install any software. I would highly recommend the StandScan Pro as a portable and efficient solution for your scanning needs!
