Simply7 Chips Review

Chips have become synonymous with junk food and the ingredients used to make them are to blame. It is becoming more common for people to read the nutrition labels on food, and it isn't hard to figure out the "unhealthy" ingredients. My general rule of thumb is, if you can't pronounce it, steer clear from putting it in your body!

I've always loved chips, but had to cut back in recent years for my health. Chips that are made with healthier ingredients generally cost a fortune, and since I would go through at least 4 bags of chips each week, I burned holes in my pockets just for chips!

I'm always on the lookout for healthier versions of my favorite types of foods, and came across Simply7 chips. What caught my attention were the flavor choices and the ingredients used to make them.

Simply7 makes pomegranate, lentil, and hummus chips in a variety of mouth-watering flavors. Can you believe they made chips out of a fruit and beans?

I love pomegranates, so the first bag I ripped open was the white cheddar pomegranate chips. The aroma of the aged cheddar coupled with the sweet smell of pomegranates is incredibly pleasant!

These chips have a nice crunchy texture combined with a lightweight, crisp feel. They are sprinkled and coated with cheddar and the flavor combination is simply delicious. How can you go wrong with pomegranates and cheddar?

Within 10 minutes, this was all that was left from the entire bag. My family enjoyed it and needless to say, my son was a huge fan. Everyone in my family is a picky eater, so there is always tons of food left over for me. Sadly, these chips were gone in just 30 minutes.

Simply7 chips are clearly not deep fried in oil as they are not greasy at all. The red color makes them highly appealing and is a definite conversation starter when you serve them at family gatherings or parties.

Benefits of these chips:

  • Gluten-free ingredients
  • Kosher
  • No preservatives or transfats
  • Non-GMO

The pomegranate white cheddar chips wasn't the only flavor I enjoyed. I liked all of them, particularly the Jalapeno Lentil Chips, and the Sea Salt Hummus Chips. The flavors are unique and distinctive. The best part is I can buy all their chips without my wallet taking a huge hit!

Their other flavors include: Black Pepper, Tomato Basil, Roasted Red Pepper, and Bruschetta.

I found these chips at a Safeway near me, but you can use their store locator to find their products. You can find them in several Whole Foods and HEB stores.

Check them out on Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates and information. They are dedicated to bringing consumers healthier options for snacks, so let's help spread the word about their products!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
